Venice Seeded Third For LA City Playoffs:

Venice High, the Western League football champion, is the No. 3 seed in the LA City Championship Bracket playoffs.

Venice was scheduled for a first round game against Banning, the fourth place team from the Marine League, on Thursday night, November 16.

The Gondoliers have an 8-3 overall record.

Palisades, also from the Western League, is playing in the Invitational Bracket Tournament, comprised of teams rated 17th through 32nd by the City. On Thursday, November 16, Palisades was scheduled to play Marshall of the Northern League.

On the final weekend of regular season games Venice defeated Palisades, 48-13.
