Dog parks, a state-of-the-art soccer field, picnic facilities, a playground and more are all a part of Santa Monica’s newest park, Airport Park.
The park officially opens on Sunday, April 29, with festivities open to the entire community taking place between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. The Belle Air Brass band will serenade parkgoers, while food will be available from Spitfire Grill and Typhoon Restaurant. For four-legged visitors, there will be a dog obedience demonstration.
Airport Park is at Airport Avenue and Centinela/Bundy, on the south side of the airport.
