Malibu International Film Festival

Now in its eighth year, the Malibu International Film Festival has become a significant showcase for independent films. This year’s event offers more than 50 films (selected from over 2,000 entries), with the debuts of four features, 35 shorts, seven animated films and seven documentaries. (See listings below for highlights). Films will be screened conveniently at the Aero Theatre, and an opening night celebration will be held at Bergamot Station’s Writer’s Boot Camp, with entertainment by DJ Jason Bentley of KCRW.
