Cody Decker, UCLA’s freshman first baseman from Santa Monica High, has been named to the all-Pac-10 Conference baseball team.
Decker led UCLA in home runs with 13 entering a weekend series against Oregon State, the Bruins’ final one of the regular season.
He also had 52 RBI in 46 games and a .323 batting average.
Decker progressed from the Santa Monica Little League to his Samohi career. He showed promise in limited play during his freshman season in Westwood and blossomed this year.
