CityTV Wins Again:

CityTV was named Best Government Cable Channel at the 11th Annual STAR Awards, where members of the States of California and Nevada Chapter (SCAN) of the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA) are recognized for their contributions.

CityTV’s Cable TV Manager Robin Gee told the Mirror, “CityTV is committed to producing quality programming for the Santa Monica community. We’re grateful to have the support of our viewers and now this recognition from our peers. We’re delighted to have won this award.”

Other awards given to CityTV included first place for Be Green, in the documentary division; second place for On the Record with Your City Council Candidates in the election division; second place for Get Out in the magazine division; third place for Downbeat Showdown in the performing arts division and third place for Santa Monica Update in the news division.
