Ocean Park Tennis Youngsters Win Title:

The Ocean Park Satellite Tennis Team won the Westside Tennis League Spring Championship on June 17.

The players, who were taught on Ocean Park public courts by longtime coach Bruno Santi, are ages eight to 14, and come from different areas of Santa Monica. They defeated traditional tennis powers Riviera and Beverly Hills.

The squad consisted of No. 1 player Victor Cheng, Daryl Auguste, Justin Sardo, Frank Cheng, Julian Son, Chris Yuan and Aidti Godh. Next year the team will move up to the tougher Open Division.
