Samohi’s Green Begins Life At Northwestern:

With one plane ride, Fay Green will be able to visit her daughters in Illinois the next few years.

Samantha Green left two weeks ago for Northwestern, where she received a scholarship following a star-studded soccer career at Santa Monica High that included being Ocean League Player of the Year.

Twin sister Bianca Green, who is 45 seconds younger, received a Leadership scholarship to Division 3 Lake Forest College, about 20 minutes away from Northwestern.

There is another sister, A.J., who attends Duke.

“All the girls attended Santa Monica High and loved the school,” said Fay Green.          Samantha’s latest soccer accomplishment was playing for the Eagles, a team based in Camarillo that won a national championship this summer in Dallas. It was the second national championship for Samantha, the other one was in 2004.
