On Friday, October 5, Oxygen, a cable television network owned and operated by women, brought together some of LA’s most successful women from a variety of fields to walk with and mentor local young women for LA’s first Oxygen Mentors Walk. It is part of the network’s national initiative, “Mentors Walk: Bringing Along the Next Generation.” Among the many participants was actress and longtime Santa Monican Jamie Lee Curtis, right, seen here in the morning hours walking along the beach in Ocean Park and talking to a captive audience. photo by Margaret Molloy
