Southern California Edison (SCE) kicked-off a campaign to encourage customers to “take the pledge” to replace at least one incandescent lightbulb with an energy efficient compact fluorescent lightbulb (CFL), which uses up to 75 percent less energy and can last up to 10 years. The event took place at City Hall on Thursday, November 8. Santa Monica was chosen for the event because of its commitment to “green technologies.”
