Monsignor Lloyd Torgerson individually greeted more than 1,000 guests who attended the annual Thanksgiving dinner at St. Monica Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 21. Doors opened at 3 p.m., and the first guest lined up for a ticket at 3 a.m. that morning. Hundreds of volunteers prepared the meals. Torgerson said, “This is how we begin our holiday season at St. Monica’s. These are the people we are blessed to be with on Thanksgiving.” photos by Margaret Molloy
