Former Viking Woods Scores Winning Touchdown:

E.J. Woods, who played his first two seasons of high school football at Santa Monica High, scored the winning touchdown for Crespi High on a short run in its CIF semi-final 13-10 victory over Servite Friday night, November 30.

 Crespi will play Long Beach Poly this weekend in the championship game.

 Samohi has asked the CIF to look into the matter of Woods and several other Westside players transferring to Crespi.

 Woods, who also stars on defense, has verbally committed to UCLA but the commitment isn’t binding and he could go elsewhere pending the status of Bruin coach Karl Dorrell.
