The Santa Monica College men’s basketball team lost at West Los Angeles College, 68-56, on Wednesday, January 30, its fifth defeat in six Western State Conference games.
SMC took a 13-6 lead but fell behind at halftime, 37-26, and fell short with a late rally.
Noah Gottlieb scored 20 points, including four three-point baskets.
SMC will have a home game Saturday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. against Glendale and another Wednesday, February 13 at 5:30 pm. against first place Citrus.
