Kevin Roscoe, 28, (red gloves, 145 lbs.) exchanges blows with Gary Philpot, 25, (blue gloves, 147 lbs.) during Muscle Beach Amateur Boxing on Sunday, May 25. Roscoe won the bout by a decision. There were twelve 3-round bouts of amateur boxing starting with the young boxers from the Boys & Girls Club, moving on to the fighters from Venice High School, and then the Marines vs. Army, UCLA vs. USC, and a great finale pitting the Los Angeles Fire Department against the LA County Sheriffs. Muscle Beach Amateur Boxing was presented by Pro Fight.
