Of Particular Interest: A Geisha’s Journey: My Life As a Kyoto Apprentice

 In conjunction with the release of the book A Geisha’s Journey, Santa Monica is receiving a double visit from an authentic geisha, Komomo, from Kyoto. First, the Santa Monica Library presents Komomo in a brief music and dance performance, followed by a signing of A Geisha’s Journey, with photographer Naoyuki Ogino. Later, at the Promenade Playhouse, Komomo will give two lengthier performances, along with a slide show, sake to drink, and autographed copies of Ogino’s book.
