Assistant coaches conducted a conditioning class for Santa Monica College football players in the second week of July because veteran head coach Robert Taylor was absent as he took care of a foot problem.
The class serves as an introduction to the SMC system for new players and is taking place three evenings per week on the Santa Monica High baseball field.
