Sunday, August 3rd: a Hindu dancer stretches behind the main stage at the 32nd annual Rathayatra – The Festival of the Chariots on Venice Beach. The festival is one of the oldest Hindu festivals in the world and is celebrated annually in cities across the USA, Europe and Africa. Local residents were treated to traditional Hindu music and dance as well as healthy vegetarian fare.
