For 24 years, Step Up on Second has been providing assistance to individuals with mental disabilities. This event, being held for the 5th year, benefits Step Up while showcasing art work by the program’s participants. There will also be refreshments and music.

Every Labor Day weekend, the Sweet and Hot Festival celebrates the many varieties of jazz, from Dixieland to Swing and Bebop. Featured this year are Jack Sheldon (with his quartet and with his orchestra), Ernie Andrews, Ernestine Anderson, The Hues Corporation, Herb Jeffries, Banu Gibson, and Statesmen of Jazz.
