This annual award honors Santa Monica residents who have contributed to the community with their work, activism, and creativity. The 2008 honorees are singer/songwriter Ross Altman, artist Bruria Finkel, former judge, Rent Control Board member and SMC trustee David Finkel, and environmental activist Herley Jim Bowling. A dinner will precede the ceremony.
