Fierce and Fabulous Fight Against Breast Cancer

LuxeLab hair stylist Tracy Manzanares has been fighting breast cancer; her fiance Joey has also been in a battle with leukemia. To raise funds for these two courageous people, LuxeLab and ArtLab salons are holding a fundraiser with 100 percent of proceeds including hair, color, and other treatment and services from that day going directly to the fundraising effort. There will also be a raffle, with a chance to win gift baskets or a home massage, entertainment, and champagne and cupcakes.

Biologist & geographer Robert Roy van de Hoek leads these tours of the Ballona Wetlands estuary system, and will open your eyes to the animals and plants you never knew were there. These tours are being offered for a limited time, and are sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation.
