The girl in the accompanying picture enjoyed last year’s candle-making workshop at the Skirball’s Hanukkah Family Festival. This year, the candle-making workshop will be back, along with story-telling, music performances, food, balloon-twisting, lamp and dreidel-making workshops, puppet show, and more. For the second year, the Los Angeles Times presents Eco Gift Fest, the green way to go holiday shopping. There will be earth-friendly gifts, live eclectic musical entertainment, a speaker series with visionary leaders, (Ariana Huffington, Michael Brune from the Rainforest Action Network), organic food court and free on-site gift-wrapping and shipping.
