Crossroads Basketball Star Leaves School:

Solomon Hainna, a 6-foot-8 star forward on the Crossroads basketball team, is no longer on the squad.

“I can’t discuss specifics but I can confirm that he is no longer a student at Crossroads,” said Athletic Director Chuck Ice.

Hainna and 6-foot-9 center Conrad Liebowitz are both being recruited by numerous universities. It is likely Hainna will complete his high school studies elsewhere and then play in college if his academics are in order. Among the schools high on his list at the time of his departure were Hawaii and Pepperdine.

Hainna averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds and was a talented shot blocker for the Roadrunners.
