Pali Girls Have 11-5 Record:

The Palisades High girls basketball team, led by returning first-team all-City center Dominique Scott, has an 11-5 record.

The Dolphins have begun Western League play. They lost to defending league champion Fairfax and defeated Westchester.

The Palisades boys lost to University, 74-71, in the San Fernando Tournament. The teams will play two more times in Western League games.

There will be five high school boys basketball games in Santa Monica College’s Corsair Pavilion throughout the day on Satirday, January 24.

The only Westside team competing in the “War on the Floor” will be Brentwood, which plays Van Nuys at 11 a.m.

Santa Monica’s Pico Blvd. to host LA’s first “Fitness Crawl”:

The Pico Improvement Organization is producing the first Fitness Crawl in the LA area. Sixteen fitness businesses along 2.5 miles of Santa Monica’s Pico Blvd. will hold 10-minute workouts, every 20 minutes on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 8AM – 11AM. All Crawlers will receive a free gift bag and giveaways. Tickets are $5.
