Santa Monica Swimmers Make Maccabiah Team:

Three swimmers from Team Santa Monica have been selected to represent the United States in the 18th World Maccabiah Games July 12-23 in Israel.

Bailey Muchin, a 15-year-old sophomore at Marlborough School, was chosen to compete in the Open Division after winning the 500-yard freestyle at the CIF Division 4 championships.

Santa Monica teammates Ardi and Zak Murez will also participate.

Team Santa Monica, coached by Jon Carroll, is a nonprofit swim club that practices at the Santa Monica Swim Center.
