Softball Roundup:

Most Westside softball teams were inactive during the spring break. Among them was Santa Monica High, which has an 11-5 record.

The Vikings were scheduled to resume play April 21 in a home game against Hawthorne. After playing several road games the team will be home again April 30 at 3:15 p.m. against Inglewood.

Crossroads, which has started slowly this season, defeated Brentwood, 13-4 in its only game of last week.

In other Brentwood games, the Eagles defeated Archer, 1-0 and lost to Louisville, 10-0, bringing their record at 3-9.
