When Cody Decker hit his 15th home run of the season on Saturday, April 25 he moved into seventh place on UCLA’s career list.
The former Santa Monica High star has 41 in his four Bruin seasons. He went ahead of Garrett Atkins, now a star with the Colorado Rockies. Atkins hit 40 for UCLA from 1998 to 2000.
The last UCLA player to hit 15 home runs in a season was Ryan McCarthy in 2004.
