GETTING DOWN FOR JUNETEENTH:

The City of Santa Monica and Juneteenth Celebration Committee presented the 17th Annual Juneteenth Celebration: A New Voice of Hope at Virginia Avenue Park on Saturday, June 20. The event included comedienne and actress Debra Skelton of MADtv as emcee, music, history, culture, storytelling, dance and more. Many visitors enjoyed the DJ dance stage.
