Palisades Absorbs Fourth Non-League Defeat:

The only consolation for the Palisades High football team in a disappointing start to the football season is that Western League competition hasn’t started yet.

The Dolphins are 0-4 following a 28-21 loss to Granada Hills Friday night. Last season Granada Hills had a 1-9 record.

If Palisades is searching for precedent it can observe that Venice went 0-5 in non-league games last season, then went 5-0 in the league and as a league champion made the playoffs.Palisades, which has suffered some key injuries, will play its final non-league game Friday night at Franklin.
