Monster Bash:

The Santa Monica Police Activities League (PAL) created a night of spooky and safe Halloween thrills and chills for Southern California kids at the 18th annual PALloween celebration.

The event, which brought in over 4,000 kids and their families, took place from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, October 31st at Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport.

The PALloween celebration featured a costume contest, judged by Santa Monica’s own Chief of Police Tim Jackman and Fire Chief Jim Hone, nine trick or treat lanes; game booths; tot area; and a haunted fun house, all within a safe and secure environment, worry-free for parents and frightfully fun-filled for children.

The event was primarily funded through the generous donations of over 45 participating sponsors. This year’s main sponsors for PALloween include the Santa Monica Air Center/Barker Hangar, Children Affected By AIDS Foundation, Judi Barker and the City of Santa Monica.
