Crossroads’ Baer Likely Out for The Season:

The Crossroads girls basketball team is likely to be without former CIF Player of the Year Megan Baer for the remainder of the season due to the second knee injury of her career.

“That’s what I’ve been told,” said Crossroads coach Malek Abdul-Mansour.

Baer, who was out last season, was playing well this season before being injured over the Christmas holiday.

She hasn’t played in the Roadrunners’ last three games, including a 54-51 Alpha League loss this week to Maranatha.

In Baer’s absence Nadine Byers and Shannon McQueen have been sharing point guard duties.
