Thousands of fans gathered in the rain to cheer at the University of Oregon Ducks Pep Rally that played in Friday’s Rose Bowl Championship game. The Ducks Pep Rally was scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Santa Monica Pier 1550 lot and the Ohio State University Buckeye’s Beach Bash took place on Thursday, December 31, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., also at the Santa Monica Pier 1550 lot. Local businesses welcomed the boom is sales. Ohio State beat Oregon 26-17.
