Palisades Loses First Round Game:

Although the Palisades High boys basketball team had the homecourt advantage, the Dolphins lost their first round LA Cirt Section playoff game, 91-86 to Birmingham High in overtime.

Palisades was the No. 6 seed. Birmingham, which had lost its previous four games, was seeded 11th.

Garrett Nevels scored 38 points for Palisades. which couldn’t hold an eight-point halftime lead and finished the season with a 19-9 record.
