APB: Nabbed While Napping:

On Saturday, Jan. 22, at 12:01 p.m. officers went to a proprietorship located on the 2000 block of Lincoln Boulevard in response to a report of an intoxicated female. Upon arrival, the officers entered the business, and discovered a female… who was passed out, and sitting in a chair. There was an open bottle of vodka next to her, and she did not appear to be a customer of the business.

The officers awoke the woman from her slumber and as she exited dreamland she was uncooperative, and extremely intoxicated. The woman refused to attempt to stand up and accompany the officers to the police vehicle. The officers eventually had to carry her to their police car, and put her in the back of it. This intoxicated 57-year-old Santa Monica female was charged with public intoxication, and yes, you guessed it – a parole violation. Her bail was set at $10.000.
