This is the second year that the Los Angeles Marathon terminates in Santa Monica. Miles 23 to 25 along San Vicente will feature entertainment by bands Felis and Core plus an entertainment center at San Vicente and Ocean Avenue. The Finish Line Festival, located south of Colorado Avenue and the Santa Monica Pier will feature a large screen broadcasting the live Marathon telecast, sponsor exhibits and displays, the official Michelob ULTRA Beer Garden, food and beverage sales, live music and more.

The grand opening of La Monarca Bakery introduces their Cakes for a Cause campaign (through June, 20 per cent of revenue from cakes sold at the bakery will be donated to Ecolife Foundation, to help save the habitat of the butterfly for which the bakery is named). Visitors can also enjoy the wide variety of Mexican goodies sold at La Monarca.
