Bomb Scare Triggers Neighborhood Evacuation:

Preliminary reports indicate that an explosive device was found early this morning at an area not far from downtown Santa Monica. A police Bomb Squad is currently on scene.

Originally it was reported that the epicenter of this evacuation was 16th Street and Broadway Street. Police have evacuated an area which spans from 15th Street to 18th Street on the west and east, and from Santa Monica Boulevard on the north and Colorado Avenue on the south.
