Holiday Activities Arrive In Downtown Santa Monica:

With the holiday season upon us, downtown Santa Monica is becoming a hive of fun activity for families. Here are some of the highlights.

PAL 6th Annual Best Gift Ever Drive

Donate a new, unwrapped gift, gift card, or make a cash donation through Dec. 13 to help youth ages 6 to 17 in the Santa Monica community experience the joy of the holiday season. For drop-off locations, visit SantaMonicaPlace.com.

Breakfast With Santa

Children of all ages are invited to a special complimentary breakfast and meet and greet with Santa this Saturday, Dec. 10 at 9:30 a.m to 11 a.m. All will enjoy photos, giveaways, and fun activities. The free event will be held at the Market at Santa Monica Place and is open to the public, but space is limited, RSVP at SantaMonicaPlace.com.

Pet Photos With Santa

Even Santa’s “furry friends” want a photo with the man in red. And, he’s making himself available for the evening just for the animals. So, animals: Bring your owners! It will be held next Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held at The Market, level three at 395 Santa Monica Place. Photo packages from $22.99.

Santa Claus At Santa Monica Place

Looking for a professional photo with Santa? Visit Santa at The Market at Santa Monica Place this holiday season through Dec. 24. Children visiting Santa receive a free commemorative gift. Photo packages from $22.99. Visit SantaMonicaPlace.com for more information.

Cookie Making And Story Time With Mrs. Claus

Mrs. Claus visits The Market at Santa Monica Place for a very special event! Children of all ages are welcome to join in and decorate freshly baked cookies or just enjoy story time with

Mrs. Claus. The event will be held Saturday, Dec. 17 at 9:30 a.m. It is free and open to the public, but space is limited, RSVP at SantaMonicaPlace.com.

Chanukah Menorah Lighting

Downtown Santa Monica will celebrate the Chanukah season with a traditional menorah lighting every evening at sundown from Dec. 20-27. Celebrate with local synagogues and temples throughout the week at Third Street Promenade Center Court.
