Santa Monica Swim Center To Open Splash Pool This Sunday For Man’s Best Friend:

The Santa Monica Swim Center, located at 2225 16th Street, will open its doors on Sunday to a whole new breed of customer – man’s best friend – for one day online.

The Splash Pool will be transformed into one of the best dog-only pools before the Swim Center closes for winter maintenance,

Doggy Dip Day will be divided into two sessions.

The first will be for dogs over 30lbs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and the second for dogs under 30lbs from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

While entry for all dogs with valid Santa Monica dog licenses is free, entry for their human counterparts ages 18 and up is $3.25 and youth is $1.25.

Proof of Santa Monica residency is required to gain access to the dog-only pool party.

A strict one dog per person rule will be in effect as well as no swimming by owners.

Animal Control and lifeguards will be on site to see that everyone plays safe.
