Samohi And St. Monica Compete in Multi-Team Basketball Tournament Today:

Samohi's Aneise Palmore zips a pass to a teammate in recent action. Palmore and the Lady Vikings will compete in the Westside Challenge on Saturday with 13 other teams.

The 4th Annual Westside Basketball Challenge takes over Samohi today with 14 girls’ basketball teams, including Samohi and St. Monica, from all different divisions competing on the Viking floor.

Here’s the rundown:

9:30 a.m. Alemany JV vs. Samohi JV

11 a.m. Marlborough (Varsity) vs. Inglewood (Varsity)

12:30 p.m. Redondo vs. Culver City

2 p.m. Marymount vs. St. Monica

3:30 p.m. Brentwood vs. Hawthorne

5 p.m. Gahr vs. Alemany

6:30 p.m. La Jolla Country Day vs. St. Bernard

8 p.m. Ventura vs. Samohi

At Clover Park Crossroads Boys Varsity Baseball hosted Sierra Canyon School in a Gold Coast League game Tuesday March 20 and lost 5-0 thus dropping their record to 1-2 in league play and 5-3 overall.
