Santa Monica Chase Bank Robbed In Broad Daylight:

The suspect is described as a male

The Santa Monica Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a robbery suspect that held up the Chase Bank located at 1333 4th Street at about 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Witnesses reported that a suspect had entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money by way of a demand note. After receiving cash from the teller, the suspect fled the location on foot.

SMPD Sgt. Richard Lewis said the suspect is described as a male, Black, in his mid-40s, 5’8″, heavyset with a “big belly,” wearing green Dockers pants and a yellow shirt with green stripes and white tennis shoes.
