Brock To Be Installed As President Of California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners:

Phil Brock will be installed as the new President of the California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners and Board Members tonight, March 22, as part of the California Park & Recreation Society Conference.

He will be sworn in by the Richard Bloom, Mayor of the City of Santa Monica, at Hotel Maya in Long Beach.

Brock, who is Chair of the Santa Monica Recreation and Parks Commission, has served on that Commission since October 2003.

Prior to his appointment to the Commission, he was Chair of the Sports Advisory Committee for the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, and has served as President of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica Council.

Locally, Brock is President and Founder of the Studio Talent Group and nationally he is President of the Talent Managers Association. Brock has been tireless in his advocacy throughout the city and the state for recreational facilities and parkland to promote healthy outdoor activity in every citizen’s life.
