Santa Monica November 6 Election Filing Period Ends On Friday:

Frank Gruber filed his nomination papers on Monday

Just three days remain for candidates to file to be part of the race for the Nov. 6 election to fill seats on the Santa Monica City Council, SMMUSD School Board, SMC Board of Trustees, and the Rent Control Board.

City Council candidate Frank Gruber said he filed his nomination papers at the City Clerk’s office on Monday, formally entering the race for one of four City Council seats.

The journalist’s campaign moves forward with a $20,937 in contributions reported for the period ending June 30, 2012, according to his campaign.

Gruber’s papers are still being verified, which is why he is not on the official Nov. 6 ballot list published below, courtesy of the City Clerk’s office:
