Heart Attack Survivor To Complete 3000 Mile Walk In Santa Monica:

Colon Terrell, a heart attack survivor from Raleigh, NC, will end his 3,000-mile walk across America at the Santa Monica Pier today, Sept. 2, which happens to be his 45th wedding anniversary with wife Brenda.

Terrell arrived in Los Angeles this week and walked through the San Gabriel Valley area to Glendale, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills.

From Beverly Hills, Terrell will walk to Santa Monica and reach his final destination at the Santa Monica Pier at noon.

Terrell’s Heart Trek across America, which began March 1 at the Cape Hatteras Light House in Buxton, NC, aims to raise heart disease awareness and funds to support the American Heart Association’s mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

He has so far raised more than $17,000.
