Pacifica Christian Wins 3-0 Over Crossroads:

Grace Minchin of Pacifica Christian scores a point against Crossroads in the second set during their 3-0 win over the Roadrunners Friday Sept. 21.

Pacifica Christian (3-0) dominated the volleyball court with a 3-0 win over Crossroads (3-6) in three sets of play 25-18, 25-14, and 25-15 to win over the Roadrunners in a game of intense volleys, spikes, and digs.

Head Coach Billy Allen of Pacifica Christian thought it was a good win for the Seawolves.

“First game was pretty close,” said Allen. “Our serving was a little off but we tightened that up and it made a big difference.”

According to Allen, steady rock center Kiani Lane “played well on defense” and Jen Hook and Miley Lane “stepped up and hit well” for the Seawolves.

Head Coach David Crist of the Crossroads Roadrunners thought his team lacked consistency.

“The girls played pretty incredible defense throughout and better volleyball without a doubt,” said Crist. “We passed really well but its just stringing everything together.”

Pacifica Christian plays the Archer School for Girls today away at Culver City High School at 7:00 p.m.
