A Jazz Halloween Masquerade will be held from 6:30-11 p.m. today, Oct. 30 at The Charleston, 2460 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica.
Admission is $20 to be a part of a Halloween Costume Ball that includes Charleston Dance Lesson, passed hors d’oeuvre, and one free drink (beer, house wine, well liquor). Ten percent of proceeds will be given to charity.
Participants are encouraged to dress in 1930s attire. Masks are also encouraged.
Costume and dance contest with prizes will take place.
Live music will be provided by Dan Barrett and his Speakeasy Band.
