The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers, a Venice-based group of professional singers, is excited to be a part of many local holiday events. These zany characters have been spicing up the holidays here in LA for the past 11 years.
Costumed in flamboyant holiday garb, the Rockers offer an amazing amount of energy, which creates an outrageous and lively show.
This year, the Rockers are performing at a brand new event tonight, Nov. 30. They will celebrate the first Venice Sign Holiday Lighting and the Windward Holiday Crawl that will take place at Windward Avenue and Pacific Avenue near the Venice Sign.
The beloved sign will be lit up with green and red lights at the ceremony.
The festive event presents a line-up of performers starting at 6 p.m. and running through 9 p.m. The Venice Sign will be lit at 7:45 p.m. and The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers are set to sing at 8 p.m.
The Rockers look forward to performing again this year at The Main Street Holiday Extravaganza this Saturday, Dec. 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This annual event begins with a tree lighting at Ocean Park and Main, followed by a candlelight walk to the Shopping Cart Christmas Tree at Edgemar Place (by Ben & Jerry’s and Peet’s Coffee), where The Jingle Bell Rockers will sing a set, before they move on down the street to spread holiday cheer.
You can catch The Off Their Jingle Bell Rockers performing at more events like the Abbot Kinney Holiday Family Fun Day on Sunday Dec. 9. The Rockers will sing at 2 p.m. at the Brig parking lot at 1515 Abbot Kinney, which will feature a snow hill for sledding and activities for children. Then stroll down the boulevard with this boisterous crew until 5 p.m.
On Wednesday, Dec. 12, locals will have one more chance to see the Rockers at Dannys Venice at 23 Windward Avenue in Venice from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
