Women part of OPCC’s Daybreak program will receive a special experience from TOURific Escapes this Tuesday, Nov. 13. The women will be able to see firsthand the tour business in action.
Several restaurant partners such as Mashti Malone’s Ice Cream Parlor and Greenblatts’s Deli on Sunset Boulevard have also donated food tastings for this special event.
TOURific Escapes Sites & Bites Hollywood Tour was formed by two enterprising entrepreneurs, Trish Procetto and Matt Rubenstein, two and a half years ago when they both had lost their jobs and decided to follow their dreams.
Through Proscetto’s membership with the Junior League of Los Angeles, she participated in a panel discussion at OPCC’s Daybreak program, sharing her story of entrepreneurialism with the workshop participants.
She was so impressed by the women of Daybreak that she decided right away that she wanted to do something even more special for them – actually bring them a tour.
