The Santa Monica College Jazz Band will perform at 4 p.m. today, Dec.2 in The Broad Stage, 1310 11th Street, Santa Monica.
With Keith Fiddmont conducting, the ensemble will perform arrangements from the masters as well as contemporary works from aspiring composers and arrangers.
Seasoned percussionist Munyungo Jackson will join the band as it explores the music of Bob Mintzer, Bill Cunliffe, and Jobim. Tickets are $10.
