Partners in Malawi will host a free lunch reception for Dr. Perry Jansen, Director of Partners in Hope Medical Center (Lilongwe, Malawi), at the Westside Christian Fellowship in Santa Monica at 12:30 pm this Sunday, Feb. 24.
The non-profit is dedicated to changing the face of HIV/AIDS in Malawi. In pursuit of this goal, the organization has supported the work of Dr. Jansen and the Partners in Hope Medical Center since 2005.
Partners in Hope is a leading hospital in Malawi and is helping spearhead AIDS treatment and research within the country.
Partners in Hope currently treats more than 6000 patients, partners with major research hospitals such as UCLA and Baylor University and administers grants for major global organizations such as USAID and the UN.
Partners in Hope is instrumental in delivering front-line AIDS care, leading current AIDS research, and helping set national policy within Malawi, partnering with governmental organizations like the Malawi Ministry of Health.
This is a free event, and a complimentary lunch will be served.
