Locanda del Lago in downtown Santa Monica turns 22 years old this month and the restaurant is excited and ready to celebrate.
Starting this Friday, April 5, through Thursday, April 25, Lago will be offering a special anniversary menu in honor of 22 years in business in Santa Monica.
General manager Megan Sheehy said 22 years in the restaurant business was an eternity and the restaurant was happy to show its appreciation.
“We want to say thank you to our long time customers, new clientele, neighborhood colleagues, and anyone else who wants to dine with us by preparing a menu that goes back to ’91 in flavor and price,” Sheehy said.
Sheehy said the restaurant would offer the special two-course menu for just $22.
“In honor of our 22nd birthday, Chef Gianfranco created this wonderful menu based on the traditional flavors of our hometown Bellagio on Lake Como,” Sheehy said. “Utilizing the freshest organic produce purchased from the local Santa Monica Farmer’s Markets in conjunction with sustainable protein while highlighting the unique flavors of the season, Chef recreates a typical meal you would find on the lake.”
