Santa Monica High School Track Coach Tania Fisher said that the girls who broke the record running under four minutes ran a very fast pace.

“Our very fast ladies ran at the Arcadia Track Invitational this past weekend and broke the school 4×400 meter relay record,” said Fisher.  “They also ran the second fastest time in the 4×200 meter relay for Samo as well.”

Kloey Battista, Lauren Schulz, Joylyn Daly and Taji McKinley comprised the 4×400 relay team that beat the old school record of 3:57.09.
