Santa Monica Man, 54, Arrested For Threatening To Kill Former Neighbors: Alert Police Blotter: Bad Mood Forever.

A 54-year-old Santa Monica man was arrested Friday, May 31 after making threats of killing everyone from an apartment complex he had just been evicted from.

At 1:30 pm officers of the Santa Monica Police Department were called out to an apartment complex in the 800 block of Broadway regarding a person who was being evicted from the premises and was now threatening to kill people.

When the officers arrived they spoke with several employees who all said the suspect was prone to violent outbursts with residents and employees, and that was the reason of his eviction.

On this occasion the suspect had entered an elevator and informed a maintenance worker that he was going to kill him, along with everyone else at the building for having him evicted.

The officers arrested this man and he was charged with criminal threats.

Bail was set at $50,000.
